Willy Wonka tonight and Friday at the Empire!

Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, which features the songs from the classic family film Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.

March 3 & 4 at 7pm at the Empire.

Ticket are only $5 and children 5 and under free. What a fun and inexpensive way to spend the evening with your family!

The show is brought to you by the Grand Forks Public Schools.

Tickets can be bought at Schroeder Middle School Office during school hours/at the Empire the night of the shows

Artwise Gallery Opens Feb 27 at the Empire

Follow the yellow brick road to the Empire

The Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre brings this classic to the Empire Art Center for eight showings.

The Wizard of Oz is fun for the entire family. Kids can get their photos taken with the cast members prior to the shows each evening.

The production runs Thursday through Saturday evenings
February 17-19, 7:30 pm
February 24-26, 7:30 pm

Sunday matinees
February 20 and 27,  2:00 pm

“The Night the Music Died” Tribute Show Live @ the Empire

Dick Dunkirk and The Shadows Band bring you an evening of memories and fun as they perform one of the most popular tribute shows in the nation, “The Night the Music Died.” The show is a tribute to three American rock and roll musicians, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, who died tragically in a plane crash on what would come to be known as “The Day the Music Died.” Enjoy their music along with tributes to stars that took their places, like Roy Orbison and Bobby Vee.

This glorious romantic comedy hailed by The New York Times as “the most enchanting ballet in existence” is set in the countryside in eighteenth century France, the ballet tells the story of Lise, a young maiden who must choose between the handsome, penniless farmer Colas and the wealthy simpleton Alain whom her meddling mama wishes her to marry. The beautiful music, timeless choreography and humoreous plot make for a delightful evening for all ages.
